Desire is the youngest son of a cross-border trader and has spent much of his life as an immigrant, both in Africa and now globally. As a Mining Engineer, he is emerging as an expert in critical minerals geopolitics and collaboration at the Curtin Institute for Energy Transition. Currently, he is leading the groundwork for establishing the Australian Offshore Wind Cluster at the Subsea Innovation Cluster Australia (SICA). Desire holds an MSc in Mineral Economics and a Master’s in Mineral and Petroleum Law, combining technical expertise with legal and socio-economic insights into the energy and minerals sectors.
