Dean of Polytechnics Faculty/ Administrator, University of Lubumbashi/ Congolese Battery Council

Doctor- Eng.: PhD (Mineral Processing and Environment orientation) from the University of Liège (Belgium), Civil Engineer in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Lubumbashi.

Professor at the polytechnic faculty of the University of Lubumbashi, I have taught in the department of Industrial Chemistry for 23 years but also in other universities in DR Congo. I held administrative positions within the Polytechnic Faculty of the University of Lubumbashi: Head of Department of Basic Sciences, Vice Dean in charge of Research, Deputy Director in charge of Research (ESI), Vice Dean in charge of tutoring and cooperation. Dean of the Polytechnic faculty from December 2020 to September 2023. I supervise assistants at the Polytechnic faculty and I co-supervise researchers with colleagues from IMT Lille (France), Vall University (South Africa). External examiner at Namibia University of Science and Technology – Faculty of Engineering.

Since April 2022, I have been coordinator - director of CAEB - African Center of Excellence and Innovation, Research and Training on the value chain of batteries and energy transition (CAEB created by Ministerial Decree N 014 /MinRSIT /CABMIN /JMK /2022 of 04/19/2022 establishing the CAEB in the DRC.

Since February 2023, I have been an Administrator and member of the Board of Directors at CCB- Congolese Battery Council, appointed by presidential order N23/015 of February 16, 2023 appointing the members of the Board of Directors and the general management of the Congolese battery council.
