Currently creating industrial-scale best in class manufacturing capacity for fuel cell membrane electrode assemblies (MEA) and associated fuel cell components including PGM, chemicals and MEA/platinum recycling. The first phase manufacturing plant is in the country and will be commissioned shortly within the OR Tambo SEZ as the first on the continent in time to meet the uptick in demand for platinum based fuel cell components.

Previously spent 25 years at Implats ending as Group Executive responsible for Market Intelligence and Strategy at Implats with a specific focus on new business development and new markets for PGMs including metal beneficiation.

Also headed up the toll refining division of Implats responsible for refining of all secondary materials including recycling of spent autocatalysts as part of this portfolio.
